Shri Pradeep Shinde
Promising Sculptor

Born in 1972 Pradeep Shinde started his career by learning from a sculptor who made traditional Ganapati idols during the season of Ganesh Chaturthi. He lived in a slum area and in adverse conditions took admission in J.J. School of Art to pursue his ambition of becoming a contemporary sculptor.

Shinde uses metal scrap for sculptures because where he stayed was surrounde by scrap and waste material. He assembles them in such a way that the viewer sees an amorphous form of human being, animal, birds or even abstract form. His works will always inspire the new generation as a creative and experimental work.
